We are SO back, baby!
I began studying photography through the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) in 2019. I started with the Fundamentals of Digital Photography then moved to Business for Photographers and after a short break, I finished with the Professional Photography course.
Words can't possibly express how incredibly proud I am of myself and how far I've come. For me, Photography school was more than just learning how to take photos like a pro--it was a way to prove to myself that I'm not a failure. That I am more than a wife and a mother. That I have something I can do really well and now I have the certificates to show it. I worked hard for those certificates. I earned it with excellent grades--I put my heart into the work and it shows.
Now that school is done, the goal is to continue honing the skills I've learned and to explore as many varieties of photography as I possibly can. Photography is more than a career to me--it's a passion, it's an adventure, and it's way to collect stories. And it is that thought--the thought of collecting stories--that excites the most.
The real adventure begins here. And I am so ready!
